Eggs
Eggs are essential in making a wide variety of dishes. They are beaten into cakes and soufle`s to lighten them, and whisked with milk to produce rich gravies and yummy custards. Eggs are used to make sauces, meringues, frittatas, omelettes, drinks and glazes. They are deliciously versatile and can be fried, baked, boiled, poached and roasted.
Farm Fresh eggs have a rich, intense flavor. The color of the yolk depends on the diet of the bird. Deep-golden yolks are often the earmark of eggs from small farmers and backyard flock owners (like you!) whose flocks have been allowed to free range or are fed an exceptionally nutrient rich diet.
