Day Old Poultry Policies
Our Day Old Poultry Guarantee
We guarantee 100% healthy chicks on arrival with excellent livability. Orders are shipped with up to 4% extra chicks at no extra charge. All orders must meet our minimum order quantities, in order to qualify. We will offer a refund, replace stock, or give credit one time toward any bird that had been properly cared for but had died within 48 hours of time of arrival. However, we must be notified within 48 hours of arrival, if any losses should occur. At no time will our guarantee exceed the original purchase price. We ask that you report your total losses one time, at the end of the 48 hour period.
We offer a 90% sexing accuracy. For errors resulting greater than guarantee, we will refund the difference between the female and male price. Sexing errors can be reported when birds reach 10 weeks of age and no later than 18 weeks after hatch date. All of our day old poultry are hatched off-site.
We do not offer local pick-up.
***Our poultry are purebred (excluding hybrids) and represent the breed and variety; however, we do not represent that they are of exhibition quality unless specifically mentioned as such within the breed description. Breeds described as having exhibition prospects are not guaranteed to produce show quality offspring. Proven exhibition birds may produce many offspring, but very few will make it into the show ring.
Poultry Arrival Information
We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays depending on the combination of poultry ordered. Poultry are shipped for arrival at your local Post Office Tuesday through Friday. After you place your on-line order, we will inform you of the estimated arrival time frame within 1 business day. Estimated ship dates are just that…estimates. We will make every effort to ship as close to your requested time as possible. Chickens are animals and do not lay on demand or may stop laying suddenly for any number of reasons or for no apparent reason at all. Regrettably delays can happen. Please be patient and know that we are making every effort to get your order to you just as quickly as possible. Your order is our priority as is your satisfaction.
(Feb. 21 Presidents Day), (May 30 Memorial Day), (July 4 Independence Day), (Sept. 5 Labor Day) and (Oct. 10 Columbus Day) - Hatches are delayed because of Postal Holidays, birds will arrive Wednesday through Saturday these weeks.
Assortments:Assortments will be OUR choice of breeds available after specific breed orders have been filled. Every attempt will be made to provide the best assortment possible.
Vaccination Services (per chick):Marek's Disease Vaccination (standard sized chicks only) available for an additional cost during checkout.

NPIP Certificates
We provide NPIP certificates (VS Form 9-3) at no charge. Requests should be made at the time of purchase, but are accepted until 6 months from the hatch date. No certificates will be sent after that time. We will provide the form one time, under the name of the purchaser only.
Terms
AT NO TIME WILL ORDERS BE BOOKED WITHOUT PAYMENT. WE DO NOT OFFER OR KEEP A WAITING LIST. ORDERS ARE BOOKED FIRST COME WITH PAYMENT, FIRST SERVED. ANY ORDER THAT CANNOT BE FILLED WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL. YOU WILL BE CONTACTED ABOUT DELAYS AND GIVEN THE OPTION OF WAITING OR CANCELLING WITH NO CANCELLATION FEE.
CANCELLATIONS and CHANGES: Due to scheduled hatches, a $10.00 Cancellation Fee will apply to any and all orders of day old poultry canceled or changed. No order will be canceled within two weeks prior to hatch date.
While we have taken many precautions to insure accurate pricing, we cannot guarantee our website to be free of pricing or typographical errors. PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
